When you visit our workshop, request a repair estimate, call, email, or message us via WhatsApp, we collect only the necessary information to service your request:

  • Device Information: Device make, model, serial number/IMEI, physical condition, and reported fault.
  • Access Credentials: Screen unlock passcode or PIN, if provided voluntarily so our technicians can test display, sound, microphone, touch, and battery functionality before and after repair.

2. Data Privacy & Customer Device Content

We strictly respect your digital privacy:

  • No Browsing or Copying: Technicians only access hardware test menus and diagnostics necessary to verify that parts operate correctly. We never browse, transfer, or copy your personal photos, messages, apps, or private files.
  • Passcodes: Passcodes are erased from our ticketing records once your repair is collected and paid for.
  • Backups: For standard hardware repairs (screens, batteries, ports, cameras), your stored data is unaffected. For severe board or software repairs, we advise customer data backup prior to servicing.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your contact details solely to:

  • Provide diagnostic reports, repair status updates, and pickup notifications.
  • Issue tax invoices and honour our 90-day parts warranty.
  • Respond to enquiries submitted through phone, email, or WhatsApp.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any third-party advertisers or marketing agencies.

4. Data Storage and Security

Our workshop ticketing records are maintained securely. Physical devices stored on-site awaiting parts or pickup are held in a secure, monitored environment at 57 Main Street, Gore.
